Xbox Live getting political?

Microsoft recently announced a partnership with Rock the Vote to reach out to the Xbox Live community with the goal of registering more voters. Now Xbox Live is taking the next step, enabling the Xbox Live community to take part in an informal poll by downloading a Gamerpic. Starting September 9, players can cast their vote by downloading a Gamerpic for McCain, Obama, Other, or Undecided. The poll results will be posted the following week on Xbox.com.

By downloading a Gamerpic and taking part in the poll, Xbox Live members will also be automatically entered for a chance to win a Gibson guitar.

Wrath of The Lich King

Another World of Warcraft expansion is in the making right now. It is called Wrath of the Lich King. There adding a number of new features in this new expansion such as

The new madden came out yesterday and of course like all the other madden fans out there I went out and got it. Like the Madden games that came out before it this game amazed me. If your a big fan of football then this game is definitely a must buy.

World of Warcraft - STAY AWAY!

Well i recently downloaded the 10 day free trial of World of Warcraft and although the game is amazing I must say i wouldn't recommend it. The game is just TOO amazing. After the 10 day trial was up i had to have it so i went and bought it. Ive been playing the game non-stop now. The game is so good and it never ends.

After finally reaching level 70 with my human warlock I was finally able to take a break from it and realize how addicted to it i have become. So even though World of Warcraft is a great game i would recommend staying far away from it because of the fact of how addictive it is, and, $15 DOLLARS A MONTH! This game could definitely make you broke.

But if you don't mind a game that requires you to play it non stop then WoW is perfect for you =).

Gears of War 2!

Gears of War 2 is gonna be coming out in November and I cant wait to play it! With all the new features there putting in this is going to go down in the history books! New maps, characters, guns, enemies, and bigger online matches this should be fun. So what exactly are they changing from the first one? LOTS! Let me go over some of the biggest changes.

- New Game Modes( Such as Meat Flag. There version of CTF)
- New Co -Op mode called "Horde" which allows up to 5 players
- New Maps
- Improved Graphics
- New Characters
- Chainsaw battles!
- New Achievements
- And More!

If your psyched for this game like me then it comes out in November. Definitely a must buy! And heres a good video showing some of the features that Gears of War 2 will have.

Halo 4?

So im sure most of you of heard of this supposed "Halo 4" game in development. I personally think that Halo 3 was a huge failure and would be glad to see a much better ending to the great Halo legacy, But, Is it true? Are the really making another Halo game? And if they are will it be as huge as the first three were or will it fail?

Ive done some research and from what I have learned is that if they are making another game it will probably not even have master chief in it. Its probably gonna be a Halo "Like" game that takes place in the same universe as Halo but in a different part of it.

But of course all talk about Halo 4 is just rumors until Bungie releases statements saying they are indeed developing another Halo game. If you a Halo fan like me im sure you are hoping for just one more as well.

Free Xbox Live, MIcrosoft Points, And Games

I recently discovered an amazing website. Its called Rewards1.com and its a website that offers you free games, xbox live, Microsoft points, And even CONSOLES.

At first I was skeptical about the website so i did some research on google. Everything i read about it was mostly good so i thought I might as well give it a try and signed up. After signing up the ask you to fill out some easy surveys for there sponsors and after each survey you get some points which are used to get a prize. After a day of using the website i earned 10 points and I was going to save up for a game but i thought instead of doing that let me test this site first to make sure it works. So I ordered a 1 month xbox live subscription.

I waited a couple of days and when i checked my email i noticed that i had a new message from the website. I opened it and it had my xbox live code in it. I was pretty surprised because I was doubtful about this website so i immediately turned on my xbox and put in the code. And it worked. PS3 vs 360. Who wins?

This has been a huge subject in the gaming world for quite sometime now. Which console is best? There has been huge flame wars over this subject but we still don't know for sure which one is actually best. Me I have both an Xbox 360 and a PS3 and I must say that I like them both for different reasons.

The 360 is by far the best console for online gaming, Yes, the PS3 does have free online for its games but it is way behind the 360 in online gaming at this time. Another thing I like more on 360 then I do PS3 is the game selection. When you walk into a gamestop and look at the 360 games and then look at the PS3 games its obvious the 360 has more selection and much more exclusives such as "Halo 3" and "Gears of War 1 & soon 2".

Now the PS3's turn. The PS3 is definetly a true Next-Generation Console considering all the features it has such as blueray and its immense amount of memory. Being able to browse the internet on the console as well is a great addition. The free online play(While not as good as 360's online it is free) is a nice feature as well saving people alot of money. And with the soon release of its new online feature "Home" it is definetely a great console and worth the money. Some flaws with this system though is it's online is laggy and more confusing and less fun the the 360's. Also the game selection is'nt as amazing as 360's.

So which is better? Personally I think neither. Its all up to what your into. Different people like different things. Some people like Vanilla and some people like Chocolate but which one of those is truely better? So in conclusion lets stop the whole console war and put this thing to rest. There both AMAZING consoles and both worth the money.
